I’m a Los Angeles-based strategist and advisor specializing in communications, crisis public relations and creative, impact-oriented campaigns and partnerships. I am also a writer, researcher and producer and consult with executives, influencers and businesses looking to employ effective and resonant myth and archetype-based narrative strategies in their branding and messaging.
In February 2016, I began independently consulting on socially conscious entertainment, media and education initiatives. Clients have ranged from nonprofits, media companies, bestselling authors and top tier publishing houses to figures in entertainment, politics and Silicon Valley. My consulting work is guided by the belief that clients trying to do great things deserve individualized support tailored to their personalities, strengths and goals. If you’re interested in potentially working together, you can reach me here.
In 2018 I earned a master’s degree in Social Science from UCLA, where I conducted research on myth and ideological values embedded in modern media and entertainment and how to tap into them when storytelling to overcome polarization and create social change. Read more about my thesis, “Reading Between the Battle Lines: Decoding Values in Tweets About Gun Control,” here. I earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and sociology from NYU, from which I graduated with honors.
In my spare time, I perform improv and stand-up around LA (FOR FUN), and have taken the stage at The Comedy Store, UCB, The Second City, The Hollywood Improv, The Clubhouse and iO West. I’m also a lifelong bookworm, dabble in various visual arts and am slowly, but surely, writing my first novel. Read my full professional bio here.
